Pizza Wine Movie Nights at Rooftop Reds

Take in the views and a show at Rooftop Reds winery. The ever popular Pizza Wine Movie Nights are back! Each week Thursday-Friday, enjoy a different movie at the rooftop bar, wine glass in hand with the beautiful skyline in the distance. October flicks include; Practical Magic, Hocus Pocus, Addams Family Values, Psycho, Texas Chainsaw Massacre & The Conjuring. Get your tickets here.

Zum Schneider Oktoberfest

On September 30th through October 9th be transported to Muinch in Brooklyn at the Zum Schneider Oktoberfest! After a 3 year hiatus they will open the doors to the Oktoberfest tent, which boasts the most authentic setting, atmosphere, music, fair and beer, unmatched anywhere in NYC or even the U.S! 

Just like at Oktoberfest in Munich, exclusively imported beer will be served in 1 liter steins. This year marks the first year at the new location in Bushwick at 260 Meserole St. Be sure to reserve tickets early here.

 

Bushwick Film Festival (October 19 – 23, 2022)

This 5-day Indie Film Festival is finally back in person! 2022 marks the 15th Anniversary for the festival. The festival highlights new talent in the filmmaking industry and has showcased the works of over 700 local and international filmmakers from more than 60 countries, providing a platform for diverse stories. Brooklyn makers especially get a chance to find their footing in the film industry through this multi-day event.

This event is especially popular with New Yorkers. Take advantage of a visit to get to know Bushwick better. It’s worth it!

 

BRIC JazzFest (October 20 – 22, 2022)

The BRIC JazzFest 2022 will be held for the 8th time. From October 20-22, you can experience legends of the jazz world and rising stars at BRIC House in Downtown Brooklyn. The artists will bring in their very own style of music fusing together different genres and creating unique sounds! 

BRIC House is known as Brooklyn’s cultural living room: a 40,000 square foot multi-disciplinary arts and media complex in the former Strand Theatre, where emerging and established artists can create work that deepens their practice and engages the diverse communities of the borough. 

 

Harvest Festival at Pier 6 Brooklyn Bridge park (October 22, 2022)

Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy’s annual Harvest Festival celebrates the change from summer to fall. You can expect live music, a small procession, lawn games, arts and crafts, storytelling and more—including their signature pumpkin patch! Enjoy the sweeping vistas and beautiful backdrop of the Manhattan skyline.

Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy is a 501c3 that has worked for over 35 years to bring Brooklyn Bridge Park to life. It started out as grassroots advocates, bringing together residents, government, and local supporters to transform Brooklyn’s abandoned waterfront into the beautiful park we all know and love today.
