Experience Grassroots Social Impact

On your tour you will hear the term “social impact”, but what does that really mean? For us, social impact is making sure that we have a positive impact on the communities we live and work in, as well as the amazing places we explore with our tours. We believe that truly experiencing a place “like a local” means having meaningful engagement that supports local, community-based organizations and learning about their causes and the people making them happen. Just as we carefully select the places you’ll visit and the food you’ll try, we have also carefully selected our social impact partners to showcase the amazing work being done in our communities.

With 2 tour levels enjoy the ability to customize to your exact group needs!

Local favorite!

This was my first time taking the tour, and also my first time walking the Brooklyn Bridge even though I’ve lived here for several years. Seth is the best tour guide and was sure to make it memorable for us, including taking a million tourist photos with a smile and a joke. We had some great food (including excellent pizza and banh mi sandwiches), learned some very interesting history about the neighborhoods, captured many great photos at some iconic locations, and saw parts of Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO that I’ve never explored before. It made for a great day and a lovely walk, and we all left full.

Fun Time in Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO!

My group met up with our tour guide, Justin, for our 3 hour private tour in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn Bridge, and DUMBO. The entire group had a wonderful time. Justin was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Justin earned an A+ from my group. In addition to walking around the tour packet included food. There was enough food for all of us. We all were stuffed at the end of the tour. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Comprehensive tour of Brooklyn's main tourist and historical sites, plus some food!

Well paced and organized tour. Started with a delicious almond croissant to get kickstarted, followed by a history tour and stroll along Brooklyn Bridge. The food stops are mostly towards the end of the tour in DUMBO; this works well after the walking to work up an appetite. The Timeout market was a real gem! Seth was a very knowledgeable, helpful and professional tour guide. Can highly recommend. Comprehensive tour of Brooklyn's main tourist and historical sites, plus some food!
