Flatiron FOOD (plenty) Architecture and History!

Having worked in the City years ago, it felt strange to book a tour of a city I thought I knew pretty well. But the Flatiron District is a part I didn't really know well... until now! Our guide's knowledge of the history of the area was amazing, and the architecture in the neighborhood is so diverse and photo worthy! And the food on the tour was a really nice sample of the neighborhood cuisine, more than we could eat! The tour was also paced perfectly - we walked about 3 miles, but never felt it as we stopped to eat so many times!

Very interesting and tasty - the perfect combo

This is a great tour! Justin knows a lot of history about the area, the buildings and the food. He also shows historical photos on his iPad for comparison and knows a lot of fun facts as well. The food stops were both interesting and delicious. Our teenage boys enjoyed the tour as much as we did. We highly recommend this tour!

Great tour -- food, stops, walking

Great tour! Justin was on time, at the stated place and easy to spot. On a cold, slightly rainy day, it was a good mix of inside/outside, walking to be warm and stopping to hear the stories. Historical photos on his tablet worked well to show what the areas looked like before. Justin clearly enjoys history. The stops were a good mix of traditional NYC food and new items on the food scene. We had a few chances to sit down, and every stop had a clean restroom.

Bagels, bakes and Barbie

The tour was great fun. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and keen to share his local insights on the history of the area and the best places to eat. The tour was a nice balance of walking and eating, which was particularly welcome given the less than clement weather. I got try delicious food from places I wouldn’t have found on my own as well as visiting the place Barbie was invented and where Buddy the Elf ate discarded gum - a perfect trip!

Great tour

This small group tour is really great, lasted around 3 hours looking at all the various architecture in the area with Justin our tour guide explaining all the history associated with it, then the food! Don’t eat breakfast before you go, we started off trying Pizza at Eataly, then a Reuben on a bagel which was great, we the visited Brain Food to try something healthy, there was a coffee stop and we finished up with a sweet treat. Lots of food, great tour with a very knowledgeable and experienced tour guide. Highly recommended. We loved it.
