Spooky season has arrived! Whether you’re into fun fall classics, spooky silly fun, or down-right scary thrills there is something for you in NYC this October! Check out this list of someof our favorite parties and events around town this spooky season.

Nightfall @ Green-Wood Cemetery

Thursday, October 20, 7-10 pm.

As night falls across Green-Wood, step through the iconic Gothic Arch and into an unforgettable experience of ethereal sights and sounds. Guided by the thousands of flickering candles, you’ll wander along the Cemetery’s winding paths and have chance encounters with musicians, moving images, performance artists, and storytellers. They have been on hiatus due to the pandemic, but this year their calendar is filled to the brim with tours, talks, and trolley rides concerning ghouls, spiritualists, and the history of the dead. It all takes place against the stunning backdrop of one New York City’s most historic and storied landscapes, lit by the light of the silvery moon.

Tickets are $75

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! EventBrite has a great roundup of events in NYC & Brooklyn. Personally, we recommend House of Yes and the Dances of Vice party at Capitale. Costumes required!

THE VILLAGE HALLOWEEN PARADE IS BACK!

Monday, October 31, 2022 at 7pm

After a pause during the pandemic, more than 50,000 zombies, ghouls, witches, monsters, robots, giant puppets and more things that go bump in the night will take to the streets for a night of costumed revelry that you won’t want to miss.

This year’s theme is “Freedom” so bust out your best costumes that make you feel joyful, light, and free!
